In ILE-103-T Basic English I, participants will start to develop, in an integrated way, the oral and written comprehension (Listening and Reading), and oral and written production (Speaking and Writing) competencies at a High-novice level. These competencies include the ability to understand and use simple phrases and high frequency everyday life expressions to satisfy immediate needs. Participants will be able to communicate at a basic level in order to perform routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar situations. The content of the course will be presented from a critical perspective.
